For lent, I decided to test my strength in letting go of a bad habbit: looking at social media when tucked away in bed. Specifially, instagram and pinterest. I could spend a good hour before I realize what I have done. *sigh*
Now, for those of you share the same restless habit know that when your phone hits you in the face for the 5th time you're ready to call it a night.
Unfortunately, last night I failed and was scrolling through pinterest around 12:30am at decorated Easter cookies.
But we all have a "get out of jail free card" don't we?....
By the way, I am so thankful for Pinterest and people sharing their creativity.
Back on track here. I quickly ex'd (is that even a word?) out when I realized the sleepless trail I was headed down and opened up my notes on my iPhone.
Desserts started flowing through my finger tips.
Although, that would be magically delicious.
Please forgive my mind. It wonders often.
Back to my note on Easter desserts.
It's a bit of a rough draft but non the less tasty!

Sorry to cut it off my friends but as I look at my to-do list of 20 cakes I have to bake off, 7 dozen cookies (give or take) that have to be dipped and decorated, fill cakes, make a cheese cake or two, and a couple gluten free banana nut breads with extra nut topping for my super healthy Uncle ;)... I am starting to feel a bit of a panic attack coming on. It's shake and bake time!
Let's toast to this being the first of many posts with a glass of milk, (preferably almond milk... because almonds make milk) and a stack of cookies.
